What is Let Freedom Read?
On my social networks, I talk about best practices in literacy. Some of the best practices I share come from my own experience of 10 years in the classroom and 4 years as a campus and district professional. Some of the best practices I share come from my ongoing professional development and learning from research, literacy texts, as well as sessions at conferences. When I'm not talking about literacy, I'm talking about the NBCT process! The best days are when those two passions come together! When I founded Let Freedom Read, my purpose was to create a space to talk about what was important to me and in the field of literacy without the confines of district and state mandates. It is simply a space to share my growth and sincere hope to help other educators.
